Founder, Facilitator & Identity Strategist
Shawnice Reid is a social worker, facilitator, and educator with more than 14 years of experience leading social-emotional learning, youth development programming, and leadership formation across educational, community-based, and higher education settings throughout the Chicago area.
Her work is rooted in a strengths-based approach — empowering individuals to recognize their value, develop their gifts, and overcome challenges. After the COVID-19 pandemic, she began reflecting on the growing need for deeper conversations around identity, belonging, purpose, and spiritual development in an AI- and technology-driven world. That reflection became Identity Lab.
"Identity Lab is the beginning of a journey — a place where people discover their story, strengthen their identity, and build a foundation for lifelong growth."

Strengths-based, movement-driven sessions that integrate SEL, CBT strategies, reflective dialogue, and identity exploration — built for college campuses, student organizations, wellness centers, and faith communities.
